You cannot add an email address to a clients data if that email address is already linked to a Sage partner edition of Sage. So book-keepers trying to add a clients accountant to the data on Sage Business Cloud have the email addresses coming up as invalid and Accountants are having to search for an email address to use or set up new emails to allow the accountants to be added as users.

Once all of our Partner Edition customers have been upgraded to Sage for Accountants this will no longer be an issue. Customers are already being upgraded and we are increasing the pace of the upgrades. In the meantime I appreciate the frustration this causes.
